The Roper Mountain Science Center Association is pleased to announce that it is pursuing a fundraising event to replace the 25 year old projector system located in the T.C. Hooper Planetarium at Roper Mountain Science Center.

The new Super MEDIA GLOBE-II Digital Planetarium projection system combines Konica Minolta's famous optical technology with a stunning color-rich, high-contrast 4K projector! The Super MEDIA GLOBE-II is the latest top-level model in the MEDIA GLOBE series, the world's first full-color single-lens have a full digital surround video system in HD quality imagery.

This new projector system will serve students, association members, and the general public, support various programs in addition to those geared toward astronomy and be a unique opportunity to serve Greenville and South Carolina.
